The 22nd Annual Women’s Media Golf Classic has taken on a “hole” new point of view and promises more variety on and off the course with more opportunities to help B.C.’s Special Children and Autism Spectrum Disorder. It is the only executive golf course boasting a two-tiered driving range, 18-hole mini golf, a large practice green and their centrepiece par 60 challenging course for every level of golfer. Fun contests and programming are mandatory! Festivities will continue with the gala banquet at: BEYOND RESTAURANT & LOUNGE in the CENTURY PLAZA HOTEL & SPA In the first 21 years the Women’s Media Golf Classic has delivered countless fun memories and over $2.8 million for BC children’s charities. We plan to keep the momentum going with celebrity appearances, tremendous prizes, live entertainment, a silent and live auction and a tantalizing, gourmet dinner. THE EVENT

22nd Annual Women's Media Golf Classic will be held on Wednesday, June 3rd, 2009 at the Musqueam Golf Academy in Vancouver, with gala banquet festivities at Beyond Restaurant & Lounge at the Century Plaza Hotel & Spa in Vancouver.

The aim of this event is to have as much fun as possible while raising funds for a very worthy cause – BC’s Special Children. The golf is a great reason to socialize with an incredible group of high energy ladies and celebrities! Whether you are a non-golfer, beginner or seasoned pro we guarantee it will be the most interesting and enjoyable tournament you have ever played...it’s not about the golf!

Following the tournament, you will enjoy the evening gala banquet at the Beyond Restaurant and Lounge in the Century Plaza and Spa Hotel. The evening consists of excellent cuisine, dynamic entertainment, celebrity sightings, a terrific live and silent auction and wonderful prizes!

100% of the funds raised at the Women's Media Golf Classic benefit the distinctive education needs of BC’s Special Children and Autism Spectrum Disorder. We are dedicated to raising funds to inspire hope, enrich lives, and build a better future for children in our province. These children are facing "barriers to learning", such as: Autism Spectrum Disorders, brain injuries, Down Syndrome, ADD/ADHD and many more serious life-impairing diagnosis. We want to ensure these children have a safe and happy environment to learn and grow to their full potential.

ATTEND - If you or any women you know would like to join us for the day, including the golf tournament and gala banquet, there are still a few tickets available ($195). If you would like to join us for the gala banquet a portion of tickets are held aside for dinner only at $110.

SPONSOR - If you are an organization that would like to help, there will be more than 220 prominent media, political, business and celebrities participating, and the media coverage for our sponsors is immense.
